Monday, September 24th

4:51pm: An officer investigated a Property Damage Accident at North Elm and West Washington Streets. Kristin Lentz was northbound on Elm Street in her 2002 Buick LeSabre. Sharon Johnson was eastbound on West Washington Street in her 1997 Nissan Maxima. Johnson stopped at the posted stop sign at Elm Street and proceeded into the intersection, in front of the Lentz vehicle. The vehicles collided in the intersection. Both vehicles had a reported $2000.00 in damages to the front ends. Johnson was cited for, “Fail to Obey Stop Sign.”

5:16pm: A caller advised of pieces on metal in the roadway on 220th Street, near Elm. The officer removed the objects from the roadway.

5:20pm: Oly’s Corner advised of a Gas Drive Off in the amount of $29.14 from 208 West Lincoln Way Street. The officer is investigating.

6:01pm: Denny Scheuerman reported Barking Dogs near the 500 Block of West Adams Street. The officer spoke to a resident in the area about the issue.

6:31pm: Lori Higgins reported three pit bulls allowed to roam freely near the 500 Block of East Monroe Street. The officer is working to speak to a subject in the area about the issue.

7:16pm: ER requested an officer at 1000 West Lincoln Way Street to administer a PBT to a subject for a Worker’s Compensation Accident.

7:24pm: Ryan Tasler requested assistance in locating his juvenile son, who had not come home from school. It was later learned the youth had been with the Driver’s Education Instructor making up some time for his class.
