The Jefferson City Council will meet tonight.

The Council will consider for approval purchasing back-up power equipment for the sewer department lift stations, first readings to amend ordinances to increase water and sewer rates by three-percent each, a resolution for an application for a Federal Recreation Trails grant for the east entryway project and appointing a volunteer to the fire department. Additionally, the Council will discuss a development agreement for the new Jefferson Veterinary Clinic facility, along with a resolution to set October 23rd as a public hearing date for the proposed agreement and an amendment to the City’s urban renewal plan. The meeting end with the 2020 fiscal year priority budget workshop.

The meeting begins at 5:30pm in the City Hall Council Chambers.
