8:27am: A deputy investigated an alarm in the 200 block of 240th Street.

11:45am: William Griffin 43 of Rippey was booked into the jail for assault causing bodily injury.

3:40pm: A deputy assisted with a German Shephard that was found in the 2200 block of M Avenue. The dog was taken to Paws.

3:57pm: A deputy, Jefferson Fire, Greene County EMS, and Scranton Fire responded to a field fire and combine fire on 310th Street near M Avenue.

6:26pm: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on 19th Street and Railroad in Grand Junction.

8:29pm: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on Neola Avenue near 210th Street.

9:54pm: Travis Fincel 43 of Grand Junction was booked into the jail for possession of a controlled substance 3rd or subsequent offense and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Friday, September 21st

6:30am: The Sheriff, deputies were assisted by the Iowa State Patrol, ATF, and the Mid Iowa Drug task Force with a search warrant at 705 East Main Street, Grand Junction. There were controlled substances and a firearm located.

6:33am: A deputy investigated a car deer accident were the driver had left the scene.

6:39am: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle at W Avenue and 305th Street.

6:44am: A deputy investigated a single vehicle accident on U Avenue near 260th Street. Natalie Payan 16 of Rippey lost control of her 2000 Toyota Camry and went into the east ditch causing around 500 dollars damage to the vehicle.

7:56am: A deputy investigated suspicious activity in the 600 block of North Street, Churdan.

9:35am: A deputy investigated a suspicious vehicle on Hill Street, Churdan.

1:50pm: Jerry Barker 54 of Grand Junction was booked into the jail for controlled substance violation, dominion or control of a firearm as a felon, possession of drug paraphernalia.

8:36pm: A deputy investigated a driving complaint on 220th Street near Grand Junction.

9:36pm: A deputy investigated a car in the ditch on 240th Street near Orion Street. Tayvian Martin 18 of Ogden lost control of his car and went into the ditch. There was no damage to the vehicle.

Saturday, September 22nd

12:10am: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on 220th and N Avenue.

12:31am: A deputy investigated a suspicious person in the 100 block of East Hager, Grand Junction.

7:31am: A deputy assisted a motorist on N Avenue just south of Jefferson.

8:06am: A deputy assisted with putting a horse back in its lot in the 1100 block of 330th Street.

8:09am: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on Falcon Avenue near 230th Street.

3:14pm: A deputy investigated a careless driving complaint on 220th Street near Scranton.

5:33pm: A deputy assisted with an ambulance call in the 800 block of East Hager Street, Grand Junction.

8:54pm: A deputy removed debris from the roadway on U Avenue near 170th Street.

Sunday, September 23rd

1:44am: A deputy arrested Jacob Fisher 27 of Webster City for Operating while intoxicated, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana.

4:34am: Jacob Fisher 27 of Webster City was booked into the jail for operating while intoxicated 1st offense, possession of drug paraphernalia, and 1st offense possession of a controlled substance.

8:48am: A deputy assisted with putting cattle back in the fence in the 500 block of D Avenue.

12:35pm: A deputy investigated a trespass complaint in the 900 block of East Hager Street, Grand Junction.

2:16pm: A deputy picked up a purse that was found in the 2400 block of 337 th Street.

3:42pm: A deputy conducted a welfare check on a vehicle near Hillcrest Avenue on 220th Street.

5:37pm: A deputy investigated a trespass complaint on the railroad tracks near J Avenue.

6:46pm: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on N Avenue near 270th Street.

7:55pm: A deputy investigated a criminal mischief complaint in the 600 block of 14th Street, Grand Junction.

10:38pm: A deputy investigated a dog bite in the 100 block of Sunset Drive, Grand Junction.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
