The Greene County cross-country runners took part in the Panorama Invitational yesterday on a warm and windy day at the Panorama National Par Three Golf Course. Coach Jeff Lamoureux’s girls’ team was seventh among 16 squads with 179 points, while the boys were fourteenth with 344 in a 20 team field.

Sophomore Conner Allender led the girls from Greene County with an eighteenth place finish overall in 23:52 for the five kilometers (3.1 miles). Junior Kassie Lamoureux was 28th in 24:39, followed by sophomore Makala Kafer, 34th in 25:22, junior Ashlee Harmeyer, 67th in 26:49, and junior Izzy Bravard, 68th, also in 26:49.

The Greene County boys were led by sophomore Luis Velazco, 52nd in 20:41. Sophomore Conner Brus was 65th in 21:06, with senior Jack Bryson 67th in 21:12, freshman Logan Woodruff 70th in 21:24, and junior Trevor Lebeck, 95th in 22:21.
