2018 ADM Homecoming King and Queen

Another year, and another Tiger Fest at Adel-DeSoto-Minburn High School has come and went.

This year’s festivities on the eve of the 2018 ADM Homecoming game once again had a huge crowd in attendance. Many took part in the booths set up by various area businesses, and kids entertained themselves with a wide variety of fun activities. One of the main events was the crowning of the 2018 Homecoming King and Queen. This year’s royalty is King Nick Bradshaw, and Queen Bri Powers. The coronation was broadcast live on Raccoon Valley Radio, and we were able to get the immediate reactions from both.

Bradshaw was quick to give thanks for his crown. “It feels pretty awesome! I’ve just got to thank God for giving me such a great life, and just giving me such amazing friends, and just helping me shine!” Powers echoed Bradshaw’s sentiment, offering her own appreciation. “Yeah, it feels great! I’m really thankful (for) everyone who voted for me!”

Following the coronation ceremony, the students took part in the powder puff football game. In addition to broadcasting the coronation, Raccoon Valley Radio was also on hand with the Big Red Radio for Tiger Fest, as we broadcasted live, played music, and provided public address services. In case you missed the coronation, you can find a recording of it on demand at RaccoonValleyRadio.com.
