The return to the hardwood for the Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers varsity volleyball team took the squad to Huxley Tuesday evening. The Tigers battled the Ballard Bombers in a best of five games Raccoon River Conference matchup. ADM returned to Dallas County with a straight-sets sweep of the Bombers (25-12, 25-18, 25-10). Junior Josi Lonneman was ADM’s top offensive player with 14 kills and one ace serve. Junior Morgan Meyer dished out a team-best 16 assists, while junior Abbie Hlas registered 11 digs in the victory. The win improves ADM’s overall record to 7-6 and their Raccoon River Conference mark to 2-1. The Tigers resume their season in a tournament Saturday hosted by Dubuque Senior High School.
