StuartThe Stuart City Council will meet in regular session tomorrow.

The Council will continue discussion on employee wages for the current fiscal year. The Council has continued to delay action on the wages as there hasn’t been a universal agreement reached, particularly on insurance benefits. They will also discuss an economic development report by Director Kristen Renslow.

In terms of action items, the Council will continue its process of loan disbursement in regards to the expansion plan at Karl Chevrolet by seeking action on a bond sale resolution. Other action items include: a proposal for the WCV Recreation Fun Run, a Tax Increment Financing (TIF) agreement for the Morrison Building, approval of the new police officer, two ordinance amendments, and the 2018 Street Improvement/Asphalt/Engineering Agreement.

The meeting begins at 6:30pm in the Council Chambers at Stuart City Hall.
