Media Day for the Greene County football team is tomorrow at Linduska Field in Jefferson. Mitch Moore enters his second season as head coach. Some of his coaches have remained from season one, while others have changed. Coach Moore acknowledges he asks a lot of his assistants and he talked with Raccoon Valley Radio the positive impact the coaching staff can have on our young people. “Instead of just saying what the example is, we’ve got to show what the example is. I understand these guys have other jobs, too. They’re not A.D.’s and head football coaches. A lot of them run businesses and are managers and leaders in their businesses, so that comes first, as does their time with their families. But, as I’ve challenged them a little bit, you can be on a lot of boards and committees around Greene County, but in my eyes, being a part of the athletic department and the football staff in particular, can be one of the most instrumental things in Greene County if we do it the right way because we’re leading 60 to 70 young men every single day.”

The Rams held a full contact workout yesterday and they’ll resume practice tomorrow.
