When asked what were among the things that she was excited about, new Greene County head volleyball coach Chris Heisterkamp told Raccoon Valley Radio the opportunity to help the sport grow in our communities and in the county, was on the list. “I’d like to make an impact in the sport of volleyball and help it grow in our community.” The coach inherits four returning letter winners from the 7-27 squad of a season ago. No Heart of Iowa Activities Conference players are back, returning letter winners are juniors Harleigh Weir, Aubrey Heupel, and Sophia Havens, along with sophomore Lily Muir.

Coach Heisterkamp added, “I’m thrilled to be a part of the game. I’ve seen some of these girls in action in years past, and am aware of the talent and gifts inside of them. So, I’m excited to help bring those talents out and see if we can be stronger in our conference and make an impact in the sport.”
