Recently the Lake Panorama National (LPN) Resort and Conference Center made some renovations to their dining room. The renovations were made possible by a $10,000 donation to the Friends of Lake Panorama by the Wang family in memory of the late Dr. David Wang.

Wang died while saving a child in Lake Panorama on August 17, 2002. Tomorrow Wang’s wife Grace, along with his children Tony and Cassie will be present for an open house in the dining room from 3-5pm. The open house will serve as an opportunity to see the renovations and remember the former Coon Rapids and Panora dentist. The event is free and open to the public and refreshments will be served.

Wang was an active member of LPN during his time in Guthrie County. The renovations include new artwork, chairs, tables and decorations. A plaque also honoring Wang will be on display on the west wall of the dining room.
