The Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a recent drowning in Bagley that resulted in the death of an infant.

According to a press release at approximately 8:19am on Saturday, the Sheriff’s office received a 911 call for an unresponsive eleven-month-old boy at 300 1st Avenue. The child’s mother, Searia Briceno, said she had been giving her son a bath and left him unattended for a short time. When she returned she found the child unresponsive in the tub. CPR was administered unsuccessfully.
