The City of Perry has begun working on a three-phase crack and joint sealing project, which will disrupt traffic for the next week.

The work will be done on both lanes of Willis Avenue starting at Highway 141 and going east to Pizza Hut, as well as from West 3rd Street to I Court. Crews will close down one lane at a time, working their way from east to west. Once Willis is complete, work will begin on Park Street from 18th moving to 8th Street. The last phase will include sealing of the parking lot at Caboose Park downtown. All work is expected to be completed by August 23rd.
