jefferson-public-libraryAs we head into the final weeks of the Kids Summer Reading Program, here’s what’s coming up next week at the Jefferson Public Library.

On Monday will be the next weekly craft of “Blowin’ in the Wind Chimes.” A reminder that the weekly craft is a come-and-go activity. Tuesday will be the next Lunch and a Movie with “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good Very Bad Day.” It will be from noon to 1:30pm and attendees are encouraged to bring a sack lunch and a beverage. The library will provide free popcorn and pop.

Then on Wednesday will be a special program of Science Rocks: “Create and Investigate.” Participants will get to make magnetic slime, build a tower and do other experiments. It will take place from 1 to 2:30pm and space is limited. Plus, refreshments will be provided and pre-registration is required.

All activities and events are related to this year’s theme of “Libraries Rock.” A reminder that the final party will be held at the First United Methodist Church on July 30th.
