A new era of Panorama Panther football is starting to take shape under first-year head football coach Michael Kauzlarich. Kauzlarich tells Raccoon Valley Radio among the things he’s most proud of when working with the Panther football players this summer is their adjustment to change. “One of the biggest fears as a head football coach moving somewhere else is wondering how much pushback you’re going to get or (comments like) ‘well, we do it like this here,'” Kauzlarich said, “I haven’t seen any of that. The kids are all about (what we are teaching them). They want to win but above all else, they are ready to learn.”

Kauzlarich takes over the Panorama football program from longtime head coach Lyle Alumbaugh, who retired from the position last fall. Of his 24 seasons with the Panthers football program, 20 ended with winning records. Alumbaugh’s final season at Panorama ended with a 3-6 overall record.
