The Adair County Fair capped off Thursday night’s festivities with a monster truck rally. But before the rally, the Fair Board made an exciting announcement. Karl Chevrolet a sponsor for this year’s fair, announced they will be pledging $30,000 for electrical upgrades to the Grandstand and other buildings throughout the complex.

Karl Chevrolet of Stuart General Manager Bryan Spangler presented Fair Board President Scott Steele with the check just before the trucks began their tricks. Spanger emphasized this was a way of giving back to Adair County. “We’re here to support Adair County. “This is our first year here having a booth and we plan on doing it for many years to come…Carl (Moyer) and I talked and we think with the years of investment that we’re planning on putting into this county and surrounding areas, we just thought it was the right thing to do.”

The pledge is $7,500 per year for the next four years. Karl Chevrolet of Stuart is currently undergoing a multi-million dollar expansion project to enhance their services in Stuart and surrounding communities.
