greene county medical center logoIn order to help incoming kindergarteners, 7th and 12th graders receive the required immunizations for the upcoming school year, Greene County Public Health is holding a specialized clinic tomorrow night.

Public Health will be available from 4:30 to 6:30pm at their office location at Greene County Medical Center for an immunization clinic. The Iowa Legislature implemented new requirements for certain grades to receive immunizations prior to the beginning of every school year. One of the requirements is a one-time dose of the meningococcal vaccine on or after ten years of age for students in grades seven and above. Other vaccines will also be administered to students in those grades as well.

Walk-ins are welcomed during the specialized clinic time.
