The Iowa State Softball tournament concluded yesterday evening in Fort Dodge and West Central Athletic Conference members are allowed to release their 2018 All-Conference selections. The Panorama Panthers had five players named to this year’s All-West Central Activities Conference squad including three second-team players and two honorable mention choices. Outgoing senior Kellie Prince highlights Panorama’s postseason award winners as a second-team utility player. Prince led Panorama in total hits (32), runs scored (27), doubles (9), and tied for first in home runs (3). Joining Prince on the second team all-conference squad includes incoming senior Lydia Knapp as an infielder and incoming sophomore Shey Storesund as an outfielder. Incoming senior Kennedy Anderson is an honorable mention all-conference catcher while incoming sophomore Claire Woodworth is an honorable mention utility player. The 2018 Panorama Panthers softball season closed July 6 in Irwin, losing 8-1 to No. 2 IKM-Manning in the Class 2A Region 2 semifinals. The Panthers finished the season with an 11-12 overall record.
