The boil advisory for the City of Greenfield has officially been lifted.

Greenfield Municipal Utilities (GMU) announced Friday afternoon that they had successfully flushed out their storage and distribution system, and received clean test samples back after lab analysis. This brings an end to the trouble that started on Tuesday, when a problem with the City’s drinking water resulted in a bottled water advisory. It was downgraded to a boil advisory Wednesday, and now the water is once again safe for consumption.

Anyone with questions is encouraged to reach out to GMU at 641-743-2741.
