The Perry softball team found their offense Saturday in the annual Paul and Mary Ann Graves Classic at the Perry Athletic Complex. The Jayettes placed third out of four teams winning the consolation final over I-35 14-4. Alyssa Kruger led the way both at the plate and inside the pitching circle. Kruger finished with three hits and 2 RBI while pitching five strong innings against the Roadrunners. Kennedy Tunick just missed her first varsity homerun launching a bases loaded line drive off the right field fence plating two runs. Sidney Vancil added three runs scored. Perry dropped the opening round game Saturday 7-6 to IKM-Manning. The game was called after five innings due to time limit.
Perry returns to action tonight with a trip to Carlisle.
