Severe thunderstorms washed out the May 29th Raccoon River Conference softball contest between the Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers and the Perry Jayettes in Adel. The two schools agreed to make up their initial varsity game as apart of a doubleheader tonight in Perry. The ADM Tigers, Class 4A’s No. 4 squad, brings a record of 18-2 into tonight’s games with Perry. ADM posts an undefeated 4-0 record inside the Raccoon River Conference, and the Tigers two losses came during weekend tournaments against Winterset and Ankeny Centennial. Perry displays a 6-10 record overall and is coming off a 12-2 win over the Gilbert Tigers yesterday evening at home. Both games of the doubleheader can be heard on the Raccoon Valley Radio Network tonight. Coverage of game one will be broadcasted on Perry’s KDLS starting with the Perry Hy-Vee Pregame Show at 5:20 p.m. After the conclusion of game one, flip over to True Country, K 107.9 for a live play by play of game two starting with the Veteran Power Sports & Equipment Pregame show. The one to count on for today’s local sports coverage is the Raccoon Valley Radio Network.
