ACEAdair County ISU Extension and Outreach will be hosting a field day on Tuesday. The field day will be held at the Neely-Kinyon Farm from 9:30am-1pm.

There will be a variety of speakers and topics throughout the day. Extension Agronomists Mike Witt and Aaron Saeugling will discuss spring and fall field conditions and expectations. Then Tim Youngquist, a Science-based Trials of Rowcrops Integrated with Prairie Strips (STRIPS) Farm Liaison and Agricultural Specialist will talk about the STRIPS project. Extension Entomologist Randall Cass will also be present to discuss honey and native bee health in soybean and prairie landscapes.

Registration for the event begins at 9am and lunch will be served at noon. The event is also presented by the Wallace Foundation For Rural Research and Development. The address of the farm just south of Greenfield is: 2557 Norfolk Avenue. Step-by-step directions can be found below:

*Travel South from Greenfield on Highway 25 for two miles

*Turn East on 260th St. and travel one mile

*Turn North on Norfolk Ave. The farm will be on the right after a quarter mile.
