The Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union recently released postseason soccer assignments for all classes, and the organization sees the combined program as a Class 2A member. The West Central Valley/Nodaway Valley/AC-GC girls soccer program begins postseason play on Thursday, May 24, hosting the Atlantic Trojans in the Class 2A Region 2 quarterfinal round at West Central Valley High School. The winner of the opening match advances to the regional semifinal round on Tuesday, May 29, traveling to Council Bluffs for a matchup against No. 1 Lewis Central Titans. The regional championship game is scheduled for Monday, June 4, at Lewis Central High School in Council Bluffs. All matches are to start at 6 p.m. The West Central Valley/Nodaway Valley/AG-GC girls soccer program posts a record of 5-8 overall, losing 2-1 in their latest match Friday at Kuemper Catholic. The squad resumes their season in Stuart Thursday, hosting the AHSTW Vikings in a nonconference match.
