The Greene County High School girls soccer team lost at Perry 7-0 on Tuesday night. Coach Marilyn Tasler’s squad was without its four seniors due to Senior Awards Night. The coach said it was 2-0 until midway through the second half. “We just ran out of gas, not having our four seniors. Eliza Carlson had an awesome game with 21 saves on goal.” The coach added, “The great thing was that we saw a lot of girls step up towards the future. They were all freshmen and sophomores except for one junior.”

The Rams fall to 3-10 on the season. Perry improved to 8-4 and the win was the Jayettes’ fourth in a row.
