The talent is certainly there. The question now becomes if Perry can put it all together tonight. The Bluejays will take their unusual 9-10 record on the road this afternoon for a rare 4:00 kickoff against conference foe Winterset. The game is a rematch of last year’s state quarterfinal won by Perry. The Huskies earned a first round bye Monday and will be playing their first postseason game this tournament. Winterset defeated Perry 3-1 earlier this season and head coach Gary Overla is still waiting for Perry to play a complete game, especially on the offensive end. The Bluejays showed some life Monday night scoring seven goals in a span of 24 minutes in a 10-0 opening round rout of Carlisle. The winner of tonight’s game will advance to the substate final this Saturday.
