Panorama-Panthers-Picture112The Panorama School Board met in regular session Monday.

The Board discussed some of the final dates of the year on the school calendar. Today is the last day of school for seniors, as well as the Senior Awards Night. Graduation is Sunday at 1pm and the last day of school for all students is May 30th.

Superintendent Shawn Holloway reflects on this year’s senior class. “It’s always fun to see a class get to graduation day. Maybe some people take that for granted but it’s always a big deal and it should be a big deal for every single student that walks across the stage and receives a diploma…I think it’s always fun to watch a class grow. This particular class of seniors has had a great deal of success in the classroom, on the sports fields, in co-curricular activities, and really has been a nice group to lead the way for us this past year.”

The Board also approved the 2018-2019 Non Certified Handbook and discussed staffing needs for special education at the elementary. To hear more about the end of the year at Panorama, listen to Holloway on tomorrow’s Let’s Talk Guthrie County program.
