Marc and Misty Ray have each had three additional charges levied against them related to the death of their adopted daughter, Sabrina Ray.

According to online court documents, the new charges against Marc and Misty include: ongoing criminal conduct – unlawful activity, a class B felony; first degree theft, a class C felony; and first degree fraudulent practice, a class C felony. The three new charges bring the total up to 17 for Marc and 15 for Misty. The offenses all relate to the May 12, 2017 death of Sabrina, who was found unresponsive in the Ray’s home having suffered from severe malnutrition. The Rays have pleaded not guilty to all previous charges and will have an arraignment on the new charges on or before May 16th.

A trial date has yet to be solidified, and the case has been continued on several occasions in the last year. Marc and Misty have both requested the trial be moved out of Dallas County, and a decision on that is expected to come soon. Justin Ray, Marc and Misty’s biological son, and Carla Bousman, Misty’s mother, have already been sentenced for their parts in Sabrina’s death, receiving 10 and 20-years in prison, respectively. A fifth defendant, Josie Bousman, Marc and Misty’s niece, will be tried separately, as she’s agreed to testify against the other suspects.

Misty Ray is being charged on 15 counts, including: one count of first degree murder, a class A felony; three counts of kidnapping in the first degree, a class A felony; one count of child endangerment resulting in death, a class B felony; one count of ongoing criminal conduct – unlawful activity, a class B felony; four counts of child endangerment resulting in serious injury, a class C felony; three counts of neglect or abandonment of a dependent person, a class C felony; one count of first degree theft, a class C felony; and one count of first degree fraudulent practice, a class C felony.
