12:19am: A Traffic Stop with a speeding vehicle in the 1800 Block of North Elm Street resulted in the arrest of Paul Richard Nelson, 44 of Jefferson. Nelson was charged with, “OWI 2nd Offense – Aggravated, Driving While Suspended – Simple, Fail to Provide Proof of Financial Liability – Simple, and Excessive Speed – Simple.”

7:52am: Kristina Greene requested assistance at 708 West Harrison Street for a juvenile reusing to go to school.

10:47am: Walton Woods requested a Welfare Check on a resident in the 1000 Block of West Adams Street. The subject was found to be okay.

3:58pm: hrs, A caller advised of three juveniles on scooters riding in the roadway on South Wilson Ave. The officer did not locate the reported subjects.

3:50pm: Nick Foster reported the Theft of a flower pot from 502 East Lincoln Way Street. The flowers and pot were valued at $75.00.

4:42pm: A caller advised of two juveniles walking on South Chestnut Street, slapping mailboxes as they passed them. The officer made contact with the two juveniles and spoke to them about the report. No damage had occurred.

5:26pm: Duane Forkner reported juveniles walking past his residence at 802 West Lincoln Way, making disrespectful statements towards him.

8:03pm: Janet Bryan advised of unwanted contact from a male in Kansas. The officer contacted the subject and conveyed her wishes for the contact to end.

8:16pm: A Traffic Stop in the 200 Block of Grimmell Road resulted in Rochelle Guess of Jefferson being cited for, “Operation without Registration.”

8:31pm: An officer was requested in the 100 Block of North Olive Street to assist with a suicidal juvenile. The officer transported the juvenile to ER to be evaluated by a medical doctor.

8:44pm: Tony Sparks reported a stray dog in the 300 Block of North Locust Street. The officer made contact with the animal’s owner, who was able to catch the animal. The officer will follow up with a “Animal At Large Prohibited” citation.

10:10pm: David Carbon advised of a loud motorcycle running in the area of the 300 Block of North Chestnut Street. The officer made contact with two subjects working on the bike and had it shut down for the evening.
