A deputy investigated a call of some puppies in the ditch on 235th Street east of Jefferson. They were found to be coyotes.

A deputy investigated a harassment complaint at Sparky’s in Churdan.

A deputy assisted with unlocking a car that had a child in the car in the 1500 block of 265th Street.

A deputy investigated a car fire at Hager Street and 6th Street in Grand Junction. The vehicle was owned by Brett Grundon and it was a 1971 Plymouth Satellite Sebring. The vehicle was a total loss. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

A deputy investigated a theft in the 300 block of South 7th Street, Grand Junction.

A deputy located a dog running at large at Walnut Street and South Street in Jefferson. The dog was returned to the owner.

A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with trying to locate some teens in the 300 block of East Gallup Road, Jefferson.

A deputy investigated a suspicious person on U Avenue near 310th Street.

A deputy investigated a suspicious vehicle at the cemetery in Grand Junction.

A deputy assisted the Jailer with a medical call in the jail.

A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle in the 200 block of 250th Street.

A deputy investigated a car deer accident on 220th Street near J Avenue. Jason Payne 39 of Rockwell City struck a deer with his 2011 Dodge Ram causing an estimated 1500 dollars damage.

A deputy investigated a runaway in the 900 block of Eagle Street, Scranton. The juvenile was located and returned home.

A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on L Avenue north of 210th Street.

A deputy investigated a loud music complaint in the 1000 block of East Main Street, Grand Junction.

A deputy investigated a loud music complaint in the 700 block of School Street, Churdan.

Sunday, May 20th

A deputy located a dog running at large in the 800 block of Main Street, Grand Junction. The dog was returned to the owner.

A deputy investigated an alarm in the 1000 block of X Avenue.

A deputy assisted with a medical call in the 100 block of South Park Street, Paton.

A deputy picked up an abandoned bicycle in the 700 block of East Railroad Street, Grand Junction.

A deputy investigated a trespass complaint on the railroad tracks at Parkland Avenue.

A deputy located a campfire at McMann Access that was unattended, and he put it out.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
