A Grand Junction woman faces a felony charge after allegedly cashing a stolen check.

Greene County Sheriff Jack Williams says they were notified by Home State Bank of the incident earlier this month. Williams tells Raccoon Valley Radio that 39-year-old Kylene Rabourne allegedly stole a check from a Grand Junction resident, filled it out for $10,000 and cashed it at the local Jefferson bank. Officials at the bank notified authorities of the suspicious activity.

Rabourne was then arrested Monday afternoon. She was charged with a Class D Felony for first degree forgery and an aggravated misdemeanor for identity theft. She was booked and later released from the Greene County Jail on her own recognizance. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official
