The regular season is quickly coming to an end for the Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers boys and girls soccer teams. Thursday marked the regular season finale for the No. 6 ADM boys soccer team (14-3 overall) as they tallied a 1-0 victory over the Indianola Indians at ADM Stadium. The Tigers lone goal was scored by junior Issac Higgins in the games 56th minute off an assist from senior Davis Barton. The victory is the sixth in a row for ADM and the 14th overall this season for the Tigers. ADM will wait until Monday to find out who they’ll host in the Class 2A Substate 2 bracket’s semifinal round on Wednesday. The Tigers face the winner of Iowa Falls Alden/AGWSR and Ballard match.

The No. 8 ADM girls soccer team (13-2 overall) clinched a share of the Raccoon River Conference championship Friday evening after a 4-0 victory over the Ballard Bombers at ADM Stadium. Freshman Ashlyn Watt accounted for two of the four goals. The Tiger girls soccer team closes regular season competition against the Winterset Huskies on Thursday, May 24 in Madison County. The schools were initially scheduled to play their match on May 3, but a threat of severe storms postponed the game to Thursday.
