Recently, Relay For Life of Guthrie County released the complete schedule of events for this year’s event in Guthrie Center. All events for the relay will take place at the Guthrie County Fairgrounds and Event Center in Guthrie Center

The relay begins with survivor and caregiver registration from 4-6pm at the survivor tent on the track. The silent auction also begins at 4 and is active until 7:45pm. The dinner will be served at 5pm by the Betty Smith Family and Guthrie County Hospital. Cost is a free-will donation, while supplies last.

The opening ceremonies begin at 6pm with an opening prayer led by Amy Block. That will be followed by the presentation of the colors, National Anthem, and speakers. The opening ceremonies will conclude with the Survivors Lap, Caregivers Lap, and Luminaria recognition. The presentation of the teams will follow at 8pm.

The evening concludes with a performance by The Pale Moons band at 8:30 and hypnotist Randall Andrews at 10:30. Participants are also encouraged to camp out under the stars overnight. The theme for this year’s event is “Campin’ Out to Kick Cancer.” See the full schedule below:
