The Panora City Council will meet in regular session tonight.

The Council will begin the meeting with discussion and possible formal action on a sidewalk proposal from the homeowner at 202 East Market Street. They will also consider sidewalk repair at 316 East Lane Street.

Other action items include: a financial update and rate recommendation presentation by Susanne Gerlach of Public Financial Management; two appointments to the Planning and Zoning Board; a resolution approving a contract with the Office of the State Archaeologist regarding a Historic Architectural Survey at Lenon Mill Dam; and a discussion regarding Region XII’s Housing Needs Assessment. The meeting will conclude with continued discussion on open burning and composting. No formal action will be taken on this topic.

The meeting begins at 6:30pm at Panora City Hall.
