The Jefferson Rotary Club recently gave out grant funds to several local organizations and projects.

For the past couple of weeks, the Rotary Club has recognized 17 projects and organizations and representatives of the recipients told Rotarians what they will be using the grant funds on. Rotary gave away a total of $42,428, with all funds coming from their November auction and banquet event. About $27,000 went to the 17 local recipients, while the rest went to four high school scholarships, as well as the Rotary District and International projects.
