Thursday, April 19th

3:54am: Kathryn Hegwood called regarding her treatment at Long Term Care, located at 1000 West Lincoln Way Street.

8:05am: An officer assisted EMS with a Medical call in the 600 Block of North Olive Street.

12:19pm: Hy Vee reported the Theft of Alcohol from 106 West Washington Street. The officer recognized the subject in the video ad is preparing an Arrest Warrant Request.

1:39pm: Leonard Brooker spoke with an officer concerning a Property Line Dispute in the 400 Block of North Cedar Street.

2:12pm: The GCMC Emergency Room advised of a Dog Bite. The officer learned that the subject had entered the property at 615 South Olive Street and spooked the animal, causing it to bite her hand. The animal was current on vaccinations and has left the city limits.

3:50pm: Amy Purdie reported a suspicious vehicle in the 300 Block of West State Street.

3:55pm: Justin Louk turned in an Abandoned Bike he had located at the Middle School. The officer placed the bike in Impound.

5:00pm: Lisa Brandt spoke with an office concerning her elderly parents writing a subject from Churdan 4 checks in the past few months. Her parents told her it was none of her business when she asked them about it.

6:17pm: Brittany Smith reported a possible No Contact Violation occurring at 304 North Chestnut Street. The officer is investigating.

7:33pm: Jan Black advised her vehicle had broken down on 220th Street, near the casino. She advised it would be removed from the roadway in a timely manner.

7:43pm: Craig Johnson spoke with an officer concerning a Civil Property Issue occurring at 205 North Oak Street.

7:49pm: A Traffic Stop in the 700 Block of North Elm Street resulted in Robert Fry of Jefferson being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”

8:38pm: Lauren Schulte spoke with an officer in concerns to a Civil Issue over animals at 108 East Central Ave, Lot 58.

11:38pm: An officer located an Open Door at 100 North Elm Street. The officer contacted a Key Holder to secure the business.

Friday, April 20th

11:35am: Kyle Rysavy reported a subject had yelled racial slurs at his passenger near Grimmell and Lincoln Way Streets. He provided the officer with a registration plate for the reported subject. The officer is investigating.

12:16pm: The Greene County Elementary School advised a male student had walked away from the school at 401 East Russell Street. The officer spoke with the male student and convinced him to return to school.

4:38pm: An officer investigated a Two Vehicle Property Damage at Elm and Clark Streets. A 2005 Nissan Altima, owned and operated by Joan Higgins of Jefferson, was northbound on Elm Street. A 2005 Buick Lesabre, owned and operated by Glennie Costello of Jefferson was southbound on Elm and made a left turn at Clark Street, striking Higgins. Both vehicles had a reported $2000.00 in damages. Costello was cited for, “Unsafe Left Turn.”

5:11pm: An officer checked on a 911 Hang Up Call from 204 West Harrison Street. All was fine at the facility.

11:02pm: An officer located an Open Door in the 500 Block of Greenewood Road.

Saturday, April 21st

2:09am: A Traffic Stop near Grimmell and Russell Streets resulted in Jonathan Funcke of Jefferson being cited for, “Driving While Suspended.”

8:49am: The Library reported a subject sleeping in a vehicle in Library parking Lot. The officer made contact with the sleeping subject and advised him to move along on his way.

9:24am: Hy Vee reported the Theft of Alcohol from 106 West Washington Street. The officer is investigating.

11:05am: Rhonda Crystal requested an officer at 705 West Sunset Road for a Civil Issue occurring there with her estranged husband. The officer helped to mediate the issue.

2:58pm: Mayra Hernandez reported her adult daughter was missing in Jefferson. The officer made contact with the female, who advised she was walking to the Casino to see her mother.

5:15pm: A caller advised of a group of young people acting mischievously in the park at 503 North Locust Street. The office observed the group, who were doing nothing wrong in the park.

6:03pm: Jacque Cunningham reported her juvenile daughter was harassed by two juvenile females while walking to the bike trail. The office spoke to the others involved about ending the behavior.

6:04pm: An unknown subject dropped off a stray dog at the LEC. The officer placed the animal in the Animal Holding Facility.

11:24pm: Melanie Perin reported someone knocking on her windows in the 1200 Block of Westwood Drive. The officer did not locate anyone in the area.

Sunday, April 22nd

1:28am: A Traffic Stop in the 600 Block of West Clark Street resulted in Dylan McConnell of Jefferson being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”

10:43am: A Traffic Stop in the 1800 Block of North Elm Street resulted in Sharon Carey of Churdan being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”

11:53am: A Traffic Stop near Vine and Madison Streets resulted in Emily Cummings of Jefferson being cited for, “Fail to Obey Stop Sign.”

12:22pm: Jamie Ganoe reported a female subject inside a vacant residence in the 500 Block of North Elm Street. The officer contacted the owner of the vacant property and advised him of the situation. He arrived and found nothing out of the ordinary at the residence.

1:01pm: Eric Chrystal reported the Theft of a pair of trailer ramps in the 500 Block of West Russell Street.

6:08pm: An officer checked on a 911 Hang Up, which mapped in the 100 Block of Ram Drive. The officer did not locate any issue in the area.

9:42pm: A Traffic Stop near Lincoln Way and Grimmell Road resulted in Tiffany Johnson of Jefferson being cited for, “Use of Electronic Device While Driving.”
