Hesper JamesonOn Friday, the Warren Cultural Center officially announced the hiring of a new Business Manager. Hesper Jameson of Greenfield will assume day-to-day operations of the center starting next Monday.

Jameson will be responsible for directing an active committee structure, planning programming, and managing events. She will also oversee marketing, volunteers, community relations, and general business management.

The 37-year-old is a Nodaway Valley alum who grew up near the opera house. She began her involvement in event management at the center last fall and brings a customer service background to the position. Jameson is also an active member of the Cumberland Rose Players and performed in several productions in high school.

In a statement released by the center, Jameson hopes it will continue to “be a place where families are welcome and comfortable, and a place where folks can have an adult beverage and watch a fine show.”

Jameson and her husband Brian live in Greenfield and they have two daughters. The center’s regular hours will be Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm. She succeeds former Executive Director Ken Sidey, who is now the Executive Director of Bricker-Price Block in Earlham.
