Guthrie County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach will be hosting an open house on Friday to celebrate Extension Week. Cookies and drinks will be served at the newly remodeled office in Guthrie Center from 12-3pm.

During the open house, participants will have the opportunity to meet county specialists, see aspects of the remodel, and meet the new Office Coordinator, Krista Downing. The remodel was constructed in part to give Downing adequate desk space, but also as an expansion effort to house more county specialists. This also serves as a good opportunity to drop off items for their food and hygiene drive benefiting area families.
