The Dallas County Board of Supervisors will convene Tuesday morning in regular session.
The meeting will start with a proclamation of National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week. At 9:30 a.m., there will be a public hearing to discuss the final plat of survey for plat number one at Penoach Winery. That will be followed at 10 with another public hearing regarding rezoning land, which has been continued from previous meetings. The Board will also discuss three topics involving the Secondary Roads Department, including: awarding a bid for the Maffitt Lake Road paving project; an amended joint road maintenance 28E agreement with the City of Adel; and a temporary staging area lease for Interstate Power and Light Company.
Other items on the agenda include: a vehicle purchase request for the Sheriff’s Office; homestead tax credit reimbursement; mobile home tax abatements; setting a public hearing for a tobacco sale violation; and lagoon tasks for Bartlett and West. The meeting will conclude with a possible closed session to discuss purchase of real estate.
The meeting will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. in the Board of Supervisors meeting room in downtown Adel.
