Dallas County Conservation will be officially unveiling a new exhibit at the Alton School at the Forest Park Museum and Arboretum.

Museum Curator Pete Malmberg says they partnered with the Nu Alpha Gamma chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma, which is an educational organization, to produce the new interactive audio attraction. “The exhibit features former teachers and students relating their experience of rural schools, they really have fond memories of the rural schools. And the kids are really intrigued by the fact that all grades worked together and they would be in there with just one teacher and all.”

The exhibit will be dedicated on Saturday, May 5th at 9:30 a.m. at Forest Park, and the public is encouraged to attend. There will be a video about the panel, and attendees will be able to meet the people behind the exhibit.
