April 16, 2018 6:18 am

acgcWith another round of wild weather last weekend, the ACGC boys track and field team lost another regularly scheduled meet. Tonight’s Greene County Relays have been cancelled and will not be made up. This is the fourth meet already this year cancelled or postponed due to weather, joining Audubon, Panorama, and Coon Rapids-Bayard invitationals. The Charger boys have only competed at two regularly scheduled meets: Perry and Earlham. They also competed at Van Meter in the “Last Minute” Invitational. There is no word yet on whether the team will be able to schedule another meet at the last minute.

The girls were also supposed to compete at the Bondurant-Farrar Bluejay Relays tonight, however that has also been cancelled. There is no indication that the meet will be made up. You can hear comments from both coaches, as well as student athletes, on tonight’s Guthrie County PM Sports Page.
