The Bock Family Foundation in Perry will be holding their spring grant presentation this Wednesday.

The nonprofit foundation awards grants twice a year to local organizations. Their goal is to support groups centered around religious, charitable, scientific, literary, or educational purposes. Each project that is funded is located in Dallas County, and the grant preference is given to the four northwest townships. All applicants are nonprofit organizations or a unit of state or local government.

The Bock Foundation was established in 2002, and as of this year they have awarded grants totalling more than $1.7 million. At their fall grant cycle last October, they awarded 26 grants totalling nearly $60,000. The spring grant presentation will be held this Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. at the Perry Public Library. The public is encouraged to attend.
