West Central Valley Wildcat

High School football fans across the state will find out later today who their school’s nondistrict opponents will be during the 2018 & 2019 seasons. The West Central Valley Wildcats will once again be a Class 1A football team and were placed in the district nine grouping. The Wildcats district opponents include the AC/GC Chargers, the Clarinda Cardinals, the Mount Ayr Raiders, the Panorama Panthers, and defending state champion the Van Meter Bulldogs. The rest of the Wildcats schedule will feature four games against nondistrict opponents. West Central Valley’s 2017 schedule featured two nondistrict games against AC/GC and Saydel and a district slate against Eagle Grove, Madrid, Manson-NW Webster, Ogden, Van Meter, South Hamilton, and Panorama.
