A traffic stop in Stuart led to multiple arrests Saturday night.

According to the Stuart Police Department, officers discovered a large amount of marijuana during the stop in the 1100 block of South Division Street. Approximately ten ounces of marijuana were seized from a Marshalltown woman who was driving the vehicle. The woman was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, a Class D Felony, and child endangerment, an Aggravated Misdemeanor.

An adult male passenger also had warrants out of Story and Polk counties for his arrest. He was taken into custody on prescription drug charges. Both adults were booked into the Adair County Jail and three young juvenile passengers were transferred to the care of family members.
