A friendly reminder to anyone who has any historic photos of Perry, the Perry Historic Preservation Commission and Hometown Heritage would like to make copies of them.

Tomorrow from 1-3 p.m., Preservation Commission member Larry Vodenik and Hometown Heritage Research Assistant Alissa Whitmore will be at the Carnegie Library Museum accepting old photographs of Perry. Vodenik has a collection of around 4,000 historic pictures of buildings in Perry, and he’d like to add even more. Additionally, Hometown Heritage is wanting photos for the Carnegie’s collection. If you’re open to sharing any photos, they can be scanned and added to the collections, and you’ll be able to keep the original photos.
