A Democratic candidate for Iowa’s gubernatorial race will hold a meet and greet in Stuart tomorrow. Dr. Andy McGuire will be at the Stuart Saints Center from 6:30-8:30pm. McGuire will discuss her vision for Iowa’s future, including a 7-point plan addressing the state’s current status on mental health and substance abuse.

Former Presidential candidate Howard Dean and over 40 medical professionals have endorsed the Waterloo native. Her particular area of emphasis is in preventative care, including vaccinations and prenatal checks. She served as Chair of the Iowa Democratic Party from 2014-2016 and is the mother of seven children. The event is free and open to the public.
