The Perry Public Library’s next Lifelong Learners Coffee event is coming this Monday.

Starting at 9 a.m. Monday in the library’s large meeting room, there will be a program called “Tiny Houses: An Architect’s Perspective.” Special guest Nathan Compton is a licensed architect and Perry native, and he’ll talk about the growing trend of tiny houses. He’ll cover topics such as: what it means to live “tiny”; pros and cons for tiny houses; the history of the movement; and ways people are living tiny in today’s society. Compton will also share his personal views on going tiny from an architectural perspective.

There is no cost and no registration required for the event, and refreshments will be provided. For more information, call the Perry Library at 515-465-3569.
