28619080_1615075208540113_647211200160471509_oGuthrie County law enforcement agencies arrested a man following a domestic incident Thursday morning.

According to the Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called shortly after midnight to a residence at Lake Panorama for an alleged domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, authorities located an alleged female victim. After thorough investigation, 34-year-old Michael Mackenzie Taylor was taken into custody around 9am. Taylor faces charges of: First Degree Kidnapping, a Class A Felony; Third Degree Sexual Abuse, a Class C Felony; and three misdemeanors.

Taylor was transported to the Guthrie County Jail, where he currently remains on a $1,000,000 cash-only bond. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Thursday, March 15th. According to Iowa Courts Online, Taylor was previously involved in a domestic abuse case in July of 2017.

Lake Panorama Security, the Panora Police Department, Iowa State Patrol, and Iowa Department of Transportation-Motor Vehicle Enforcement assisted at the scene.
