The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors will meet in regular session today. The Board will begin the meeting with regular updates from County officials, including: Conservation Director Joe Hanner, Engineer Josh Sebern, and Facilities Manager Brandon Thompson.

The Board will then consider temporary appointments for Dr. David Ahrens and Dr. Steven Bascom as County Medical Examiners. The extension would allow the County to have the position filled while incoming Medical Examiner Dr. Josh Strehle completes minimum certification. Finally the Board will seek formal action on a 28E agreement for the Iowa Precinct Atlas Consortium. The meeting begins at 9am in the Supervisors’ Room in the Guthrie County Courthouse.
