The first official day of spring is Tuesday. However, Greenfield Chamber Main Street and several other Greenfield and Adair County organizations will celebrate the day before. GCMS will be hosting the Ag Day and Spring Expo Monday at the 4-H and FFA Center at the Adair County Fairgrounds.

The event begins at 4pm with a variety of business and sponsor displays until 7. There will be kids crafts and activities from 4:30-6:30 and dinner begins at 5. The dinner includes: a beef or pork patty, applesauce, carrots, ice cream, and a drink. The meal will be served until there is no food left, and the cost is a free-will donation. The donations supply ethanol, beef, and pork certificates to local food pantries. There will also be door prizes and giveaways.
