Tuesday was the boys turn to compete at the A.G. Dickinson Relays inside the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls. Greene County sent a partial squad of boys to the meet, after some of the Rams’ girls’ team competed there on Monday.

First year boys’ head coach Chad Morton entered a handful of events. There was no team scoring at the meet, which featured teams from all over the state that represented all four classes of schools.

The high jump produced the highest finishes for the Rams with senior Kolin Reed tying for eighth place at 6′ o”, and sophomore Carter Morton clearing 5′ 10″, good for a tie for 14th.

Sophomore Colby Kafer was thirtieth in the long jump at 19′ 5″. Also, junior Lance Hughes ran the 60 meter dash in 7.62 seconds, and sophomore Nick Breon was timed in 8.00 in the same event.

The Rams entered just one relay, the 4 x 200, with junior Clint Dennhardt, and sophomores Tyler Teeples, Brent Riley, and Xavier Hayes, finishing in 1:45.14.
