The indoor track & field season for the Greene County Rams began last week, and continues with two meets this week. The girls go to Ames tomorrow for the ISU High School Classic inside the Lied Recreation Center. The boys go to the same meet on Tuesday. On Saturday the 17th, both Greene County teams compete indoors at Storm Lake at the Buena Vista University High School Meet.

Boys’ head coach Chad Morton was asked about coaching a sport with 19 different events, and how line ups are determined. “It helps to have wonderful coaches like we do. There’s coach Lyons, who has the high jumpers and helps with other events. We also have Andy Carman and Doug Carman who volunteer to help with the throws. Scott Johnson volunteers to help with the hurdlers. So, you find resources who are going to help with your team.”
